Please note: The Christmas Table d’hôte menu will only be available from December 1, when it will replace the current Table d’hôte menu until the start of 2019.

Home-made Soup of the Day
Selection of soups prepared daily, served with home baked bread and butter

Classic Prawn Cocktail
Succulent Atlantic prawns bound in Marie Rose sauce. With crispy lettuce, lemon and cucumber.

Thai Style Fishcakes
Blend of salmon and haddock flavoured with garlic, ginger, chilli, coriander and spring onion. Pan-fried and served with sweet chilli sauce and crispy seaweed.

Salad Caprese
Sliced beef tomato, buffalo mozzarella and homemade pesto, baby gem and capsicum.

Duck Pate
Smooth pate flavoured with orange and cognac. Accompanied by melba toast and multi grain salad.

Welsh Turkey Crown (It’s not Christmas without turkey)
Succulent local free range turkey with Julian's stuffing, sausage and cranberry sauce.

Wirral Pheasant
Pan fried breast of local pheasant, laced with Madeira wine, garnished with roasted nuts and craisins.

Delice of Salmon
Boneless cut of fresh salmon. Grilled with tomato compote, mozzarella and lemon butter.

Roast Chicken
Supreme of chicken roasted with shallots, wild mushrooms and red wine sauce.

Rib-eye Steak
Vale of Clwyd grazed beef steak. Grilled to your liking. With pomme parmentier & glace de viande.

Venison and Roast Vegetable Casserole
Diced haunch of Scottish venison. Slow cooked in game stock and whiskey. With root vegetables, bay leaf and toasted herb crouton.

Somerset Brie and Apple Tart
Baked in delicate pastry case. With a rich Italian tomato compote.
