Dedicated biker Julian is now an official blood biker for Merseyside & Cheshire Blood Bikes.
The blood bikers are a group of volunteers who want to try to make a difference by helping their local NHS.
Lots of them are Motorcyclists, but they also have volunteers who don’t ride bikes.
The blood bikers’ aim is to relieve sickness, protect health & save the NHS money to be used in the frontline by the provision of emergency transport of urgently needed blood, donor breast milk, drugs, human tissues and other medical requirements between hospitals / hospices and blood transfusion units, blood banks primarily but not exclusively in the North West region of England.
